Iced London Smog Recipe

Using Lavazza Espresso

By the Lavazza Team 2–3 minutes

If you are a lover of both coffee and tea, this recipe is for you! Based on the classic beverage, the London Fog, this refreshing iced beverage uses a shot of espresso to give the drink an added caffeine boost and depth of flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 Earl Grey tea bag
  • 1 shot espresso (we recommend Espresso)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1oz vanilla syrup
  • Ice

Equipment:

  • Espresso Machine
  • Kettle
  • Tall Heatproof Glass or Mug
  • Spoon

Procedure:

  1. Bring water to a boil; remove from heat and add tea bag. Steep for 5 minutes, then remove the tea bag.
  2. Brew the espresso.
  3. Fill a glass with ice; pour in milk, espresso, then tea. Stir well.
  4. Sweeten with vanilla syrup to taste, and enjoy!
